News & CDs
We have had eight years of good fun and met many lovely people (and a few not so nice!). We regret that Shoot the Rooster is currently on hold for the foreseeable future (as of June 2007). Due to other commitments it was becoming more difficult to travel to gigs, particularly living in the "Far East" as we do.However we are still together as a band and have reinvented ourselves with the aim of gigging more locally. To this end we are now playing a mix of 60s, 70s and Soul music for various functions, clubs and holiday centres around East Anglia under the name of "Sirocco". We have thoroughly enjoyed the last few years and hope to be back to the Country scene when circumstances allow. Many thanks to all who have bought Cds and taken the time to chat with us at past gigs.

Many thanks to all at the "Spirit Of The South" CMC in Kent who voted us

Thanks Justine and everybody else there who make this such a great club.
